Robbie Pulls Out the Big Win in Week 17!!

CONGRATULATIONS to Robbie for winning the final week—Week 17—of the Pick ‘Em Blog Challenge.   He almost ran the table in the last week of our challenge by winning 15 out of 16 games, only the Falcons let him down.   Good job, Robbie!

NOW for the rest of the story!  “Hail to the Redskins, Hail Victory!  Braves on the warpath—FIGHT for old DC!!!”

Isn’t that such a lovely tune?  One that I’m sure Gallas Cowgirl fans are thoroughly tired of hearing right about now.   Redskins win seven games in a row; win 5 out 6 NFC East games, and claim the NFC East Title for the first time 13 years.  All on the backs of rookies!  Only in America!!

Coaches In Trouble - Final Week

I believe that the following Head Coaches will not be with their current team at training camp next year:

1. Andy Reid - Philadelphia Eagles. Andy has had a great run in Philly.  5 NFC Championship games.  A Super Bowl appearance.  But the 2011 Spending spree did not result in a better team.  I believe that there were one or two too many egos and that has caused most of the problems for the Eagles.  That and the fact that it seemed like the coaches could not take the time to keep their egos in check as well.  I look for Andy out in San Diego next year.

One More Pick 'Em Week to Go

CONGRATULATIONS to Brent for winning the Week 16 Pick ‘Em Blog Challenge.  This is his first win and he did it in a big way with thirteen (13) picks!  YEA!

So now it comes down to the last week of the season and an improbably Washington Redskins team LEADING the NFC Least by one game.  They have their destiny in their hands.  Beat the Cowgirls, and they win the NFC East—first Division Championship since 1999.  Everywhere else, the Division title has been settled, and all but two playoff spots are still up for grabs.  Who will it be:  Vikings?  Redskins?  Bears? (notice I’ve not mentioned the Cowgirls or G’ain’ts!)  J
