It's Race Day!

I know some of you are taking the weekend off from NASCAR, but did you know there's major road race across the pond? Yes, it's that time of year again. The 24 Hours of Le Mans is this weekend, and yours truly spent a few hours on Friday racing a Chevrolet Corvette C7.R race car around the track in Project CARS.

This year, the event is getting the television coverage it deserves. For the first time since we had the SPEED channel, 19 of the 24 hours will be on Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2. If you want to see those five "missing" hours, you can stream the race on the Fox Sports Go app. It's free and you'll have access to the race provided your cable provider has FS1 and FS2 in their channel lineup.

If you want to cheer on Corvette Racing, the new Ford GT race cars, or watch Porsche, Audi, and Nissan battle it out in the highly competitive LMP1 prototype division, here's the television broadcast schedule. All times are Eastern (EST):

8:30am - 2pm  FS1
2pm - 4:30pm  FS2
6pm - 6:30pm FS2
7pm - 7:30pm FS2
10:30pm - 2:30am FS2
2:30am - 9:30am FS1

Will I stay up for the full 24 hours this year? Not this year. Sunday is Father's Day, and I don't want to visit my family on three or four hours of sleep because I stayed up all night. I'll be on Twitter off and on all day and evening, though.
