What do you guys think about this? I had posted that the guys on XM were talking about a deal, I went to the Globe and found the story above. It seems the Sox have to give up a 40 man roster guy, but that comes later.
I heard one of the TV guys (Fox NE, I think) say it might be Edgar Martinez, a guy they'd offered for Latroy Hawkins. This was last night before the deal was done.
I think it's a good deal, especially if the guy can stay healthy long enough to get in a groove.
