Enough is enough!

Okay, I can forgive the Kazmir performance. Even the '27 Yankees would have been 2-hit by that nasty shit. But the past two nights... where's the offense? Where's the pitching? Where's the team that just won a ton of games in interleague play? The Yankees aren't going away so they better get whip themselves back into shape, pronto. And as Zeb said, there are way too many pokes to the bleachers being allowed.
My main beef with last night was that everyone clearly had their heads up their tailpipe when Crawford was on 3rd. Pitching from the windup? Huh? He was halfway down the line on the first pitch! I'm not going to give the very questionable Johnson the benefit of the doubt because he apparently doesn't even know that a sinker, by definition, is not supposed to end up belt high. But what about Varitek? Francona? Nipper? Anybody? Clearly i'm lacking in knowledge of baseball strategy so if someone can explain the logic behind that approach, i'm all ears.
Fundamentals, team. Smarten the hell up.

I was so disgusted, unimpressed by the two ballgames on last night that I watched Rockstar Supernova. That'll tell you something.

Now there is the rant I've been waiting for AA, great performance, Francona should have you conferenced into a team meeting.

Seriously thought I noticed that Johnson always throws from the wind up with guys on third. This appears to be his standard practice, why I can't falthom, but there it is. I was so pissed when Crawford stole home, I watch the new Gong Show, America's Got Talent.....not impressed at all.

Rockstar Supernova? The f-ing Gong Show? Was the Lifetime channel on the blink or something?

That's why the Lord made bookshelves.

Actually I was too tired to read, I've a good one I'm reading now called "1862". It's a Civil War "what if...". It supposed that England came in on the side of the Confederate's after the incident involving the "Trent". It's good so far.

Sounds pretty cool. I just bought the 3-volume "Civil War: A Narrative" by Shelby Foote but haven't started it yet. It's supposed to be the most thorough account of the war to date so i'm looking forward to it. (Foote was the main go-to authority in the PBS special.) very interesting stuff.
Sorry for the non-sports thread-crap.

I was in the mood for a little rock n roll and didn't feel like reading. Plus, whatever was on the History Channel I'd seen or didn't care about.
The wife was watching what Cuz was watching. Come on now, Cuz, if it ain't got Chuck Barris or Mean Jean the Dancing Machine, how good can it be?

No, no gong. Fakers!
Rockstar is a show that started last year, finding a new lead singer for INXS. (American Idol show of sorts)
This year its for a made-up band called Supernova, made up of guys from Guns n Roses, Metallica and ???? (brain cramp) Tommy Lee
